Features: Use trial version for 14 days with all features including generating CNC codes and offset positions in machine frame or from the centre of machine table. Exchange dxf drawing together with offset positions from and to AutoCAD - no typing or calculating necessary. Entity styles improved - colors and linetype override added. Move, copy and rotate selected elements or all geometry.
Importing dxf files improved - all Autocad indexed colors are imported together with colors by layer and colors override. Layer visibility is recognized. Autocad linetypes imported (linetypes by layer and linetypes override).

 How to order?

1. Download the trial version of the program from this page and unzip on your PC.

2. Click Help | About CNC ... Click Register Now ... button.
From the dialog box bellow:

   

Click Get Code ... button. Email editor will launch with the temporary licence code included in the subject line. If email program is not found on your PC, please send an email to salescncplusplus.com with your temporary licence code.
Optional: you can include your feedback and CNC machines and control used.

3. After the payment is received the confirmation licence code will be sent to you. Type this code into the boxes provided and click OK.

   You can download a Trial version of CNC Offset Calculator and test all its features for 14 days. After 14 days you can use it as a demo version for unlimited time. Trial version allows you to test all features including generating CNC code, hard coded offset positions, printing to Excel, inserting and saving text files.
    Demo version allows you to see and test all the features except of generating full CNC code for offsets, saving and inserting the program into your CNC machining part program. The demo program will not calculate machining hard coded positions from zero machine frame and centre of the table.

  Note: Use Win Zip program to extract the files - do not forget to check the "Use folder names" box. The extracted files are: OffsetCalc.exe, CNCOffsetCalc_help.chm, ReadMe.txt, Agreement and sub folders ...\Data with machine properties samples (*.mcd), ...\Examples_inch and ...\Examples_metric with some sample offsets in inch and metric mode (*.ofs files). ...\Img folder is a supprt folder with images for use in the program. You can extract the files anywhere on your computer, but you have to keep the directory structure as it is installed by default.

  • First time you run the program there will be "Default" properties loaded. You can edit them (click MC Setup) to suit your machining center or use one of the properties included in the \Data folder as examples for testing and as a base for editing for your machining centre. (Click MC Setup ->Prop.List tab and Load button.) You will need to set the centre of the table position - (Table page in MC Setup) to suit your machine.
    After you modified the properties, save them (Click Save button to overwrite existing properties or Save As button to create a new properties). Next time you open the CNCOffsetCalc, all the properties will be loaded automatically.
  • Help file is a compiled HTML file. Windows firewall may prevent to load the file into your browser. It displays a message asking you if you want to open the file. Uncheck the box "Always ask before you open this file" to load the help content into the browser.
  • If you are upgrading from older versions of CNC Offset Calc, unzip the dowloaded file and copy the executable file into your CNCplusplus folder (overwrite existing exetutable file). All settings will remain the same.

   A new help file is available for download:

      Help file CNC Offset Calculator ver 6.2 (1.1 MB) - build 18th of February 2010. This help file is included in the trial download above. Use this help file with the upgrade version or as a preview.

   To run, move and uninstall the program :
  • Double click CNC Offset Calc.exe to run the program.
  • If you wish to move the program to some other location, you have to move all the files and subdirectories together.
  • To uninstall the program, installed from zip version, simply delete the directory with all the files and subdirectories. If you installed the program from setup version, than run Uninstall program from Start->Settings->Control Panel->Add/Remove Programs.

   If you have problems running the program after installation :
  • After starting the program a message "Reading or writing registry failed " appears. You need a permission to read and write into registry. Without the permission only default settings and demo version are used.
  • Help files does not appear. Check if the file "CNCOffsetCalculator_help.chm" file is in same directory as OffsetCalc.exe.
  • If you have any problems (related to the software), please contact the author.
