Tool table is a list of tool used in selected CNC programs with option to modify the tool description, tool H and D parametrs and include these modified data in the setup sheet or tool list.

To make a tool table:

Select the CNC programs into the select window and click Scan->Make tool table.

Modify the tool descriptions, H and D parameters if you wish to do so and save the table.

Open the Settings dialog box and add the table to the list:

Open the Scan options tab and select the table from the list:

Part table is a list of all CNC programs with additional fields - part name, part description, fixture1 and fixture 2.

Follow the same steps as above to make a part table. Add the part thable to the list of part tables and select the table from the list of part tables.

Tool and part tables are useful if you want to add your own comments in the setup sheet or tool list without modifying the CNC programs. If you have the same tools used in many programs and the description in the programs is not sufficent for the operator or is different in different programs, than you can make a tool table, change the data in the table to suit your needs and all setup sheets will have uniform descriptions, H and D parameters.

You can modify the tables at any time - and if your CNC programs have changed (you add new programs or you discard some programs) then you can update the tables with Scan->Update table and keep all existing data in place and modify only the new records.

Tool table data can be exported to the database (eg ACCESS) as a database tool table.
